Life Painting

People

Natalie is a wanderlust. Over the years she has immersed herself in the sights and sounds of various cultures around the world. S he was smitten by the Maasai people and wild animals while visiting East Africa. The diversity of costumed aboriginal tribes of Papua New Guinea etched a deep impression.

All images were painted from personal experience, Natalie sat for hours in the open van observing the behavior and interaction between animals within their own species and with other species. She photographed the Maasai people in villages in Kenya and Tanzania in their everyday life. Back at home she paints from life, capturing the beauty of the human figure and nature’s bounty in a variety of settings.
